TDK Lambda EMS 60-80-2-D Power Supply

The TDK Lambda EMS 60-80-2-D Power Supply has the capacity to be mounted in a rack or used on the bench, thanks to its privileged horizontal assembly. However, mounting may be permitted in any position. For rack mounting, extra support is required other than that provided by the front panel, except for short-term stationary mounting. Angle of sliding iron in a mounting bracket or cross bean member support may be required for permanent assembly. The sides of every supply are provided with mounting gaps for mounting rack slides.

The front board surface on the EMS 60-80-2-D contains all the controls and indicators important to operate the supply in its typical mode. If the remote programming function fails or is inadvertently adjusted more than 15% over ratings, harm to the output filter capacitors might happen. To protect the unit against this, it is suggested that the overvoltage protection option be used to limit the maximum voltage excursion and securely shut the power supply down. In this model, an indicator from a higher potential source might be attenuated to 100 mv level by a resistor divider. For best execution, the source impedance of this divider must not surpass 100 OHMS.

When voltage programming the voltage channel, connect TB101-3 to TB101-7. When voltage programming the current channel, associate TB101-9 to TB101-12. This unit offers GPIB (/RSTL) and RS232 (/RSTL) connectivity, a current of 80 A, power of 4800 W, and a voltage of 60 v.
